At Sterling Machine, we are proud to offer large and long turning services for a large variety of industries, ranging from agriculture and architecture to packaging and mixing. Because of the diverse industries we serve, we feature an equally diverse selection of metals, including alloy steels, aluminum, copper, nickel, stainless steel, and more. SMT offers a maximum turning length of 360 inches, a maximum turning diameter of 42 inches on our lathes. The VTL has a 67" swing. With a 24,000-pound maximum lifting capacity, we are well-equipped to handle turning projects such as machine, engine, and hydraulic components, casting weldments, and forgings and valves.
